leslie picker is with us as well from bloomberg news. ainly seen a big increase and christina and i were just saying, leslie, that of all of these -- take a look at this chart here. the first quarter had twice as many ipo's as we saw in 2013. what is behind this? what is fueling this drive and a committee? >> a couple of things. one, the performance ipo's that came out last year were stellar. look at the twitters of the world, the hiltons of the world, all of those deals came out on extremely strong footing. the companies thinking about going public are looking at those and saying that they want that condit performance as well. market,ally, the stock the ipos are derivative in so many senses of the word. it is a way for them to outperform. so, when stock markets are roaring, it is a great time. >> good point. i guess the question is, as people question this market and look at all of the ipo activity that has happened so far, can this momentum keep up? what are you hearing about deals in the pipeline? >> leslie brings up the public market.
