let's go to the maps. you'll see a lot of red behind this crash, and that is going to cause delays this morning. braintree to boston northbound on the expressway, about 21 minutes. and then south of town, still watching a couple of incidents, this accident on route 3 northbound in weymouth, at route 18 there, and then also an earlier crash on route 24 northbound has traffic backed up and mansfield, the work crew may actually just have got done, but traffic still really slow on 95 northbound because of that. as you make your way into mansfield. problem-free heading in and out of town on the pike this morning. let's check those drive times if you're getting ready to head out the door. 26 minutes braintree to boston northbound on the expressway. just 12 minutes into town on the pike from 128. so that's probably going to be your easiest drive. 93 southbound, 128 to the zakim on the blue line. back to you, guys. >> sarah: 6:20. still ahead, gloucester's police chief fired. the evidence he's accused of tampering

let's go and show you how this accident happened. gouge marks on this wall. what we're hearing from chp is that the truck was heading on the main line, on the freeway. it was heading along eastbound. the driver tells chp that that driver was -- that the driver may have been cut off. and so he overcorrected. he hit the wall. and then he hit the barrier. and that's what jackknifed his truck. that ruptured one of the 50 gallon fuel tanks on the truck, spilling diesel fuel on the road. crews have just about separated the truck from the rig. and they're hoping they can begin clearing the lanes soon. >> we're estimating another two to three hours before we can get this cleared up. so as far as the residual effects, it is hard to say. as you know, it is a friday morning and there is a commute. so it's going to be a bit of a delay. >> reporter: so while they may get this truck towed out of here soon, there is an ongoing problem. the road is very slick. there's diesel fuel all over the road. you can see it's like ice out here. i'm able to sli
