. >> cindy, leth you. where did the the food come from that you donate to the community?food comes from the community itself. it comes from manufacturers, growers, farmers. we're part of the california association of food banks. so a wide range of resources that come into the food bank that keep us going all year round. >> how many people does second harvest serve? >> actually, over 250,000 monthly. all time historical highs of people seeking food. >> that's in the silicon valley. >> another thing that's wrong about that. you do double duty. what do you want to talk about first? how did you get involved? >> i got involved because during this economic time i had a foster daughter and two children move in. so i had five people in the house. and i only have social security to live on. so, in fact, i had seen the food bank at my church. and i thought, i wonder what this is all about. so i walked in and said i would like to have an application. and by the way, do you need a couple more hands? i would like to volunteer. >> that is perfect. >> so that's how i got started. >> how
