but if you are looking at carole or letitia james in new york, those are both civil cases.not going to lose his freedom of reality because of it. he may face financial penalties, but that's about it. alvin bragg in new york, it is a felony but it is a local case and not something that is likely to face jail time for even if convicted. as far as the two federal indictments bought by jack smith, donald trump has a very novel path where he could potentially become the president or solicit help from any of the republican hopefuls in such a way that he ultimately pardons himself or select an a.g. who was willing to pardon him and dismissed the case. but with fani willis, he can't do any of that. with her bringing and indictment and with her indicating that it's going to be a legal case, basically, what that tells us is that there are going to be a slew of other defendants who like donald trump, have never been in this position before. and what's likely to happen, it's going to open the door to a last man standing, royal rumble of everyone throwing everyone else under the bus. mo

letitia james trying to play politics but, still, trump has got to be there. up here the d.a.posed start trial date. this is probably not going to hold up, but they are going to end up pushing it somewhere in between probably in the spring, fall, but if trump has his way, it will be pushed to another year if trump has his way, too, you have got to think side note, mark meadows yesterday in court for this georgia case trying to separate himself from the 19 and push his case to federal court which in theory would give him more of a broad based georgia jury that would be fairer than the one in fulton county. and if mark meadows moves his case, the theory is trump would follow. he had a three hours plus testimony there talking about the case and trying to let everybody know where he would go and how a judge would rule. then this e. jean carroll defamation suit. this thing was done. the president lost. supposed to write a $5 million check. made some comments about her. so she is like i'm going to sue you again. i don't care what you think of the case, it's still a timing. january 1

letitia james is the attorney general of new york state, and she has the authority to bring civil casesht this case against donald trump, his organizations, and his children, and she is seeking monetary damages and injunctive relief, in other words, that they can't do business in new york state anymore, and so what she's said now is that she has filed a motion for partial summary judgment. what that means is that both sides have now exchanged all the evidence that they have in the case. what she's saying is that you can look at the evidence in the light most favorable to donald trump and there's still no disagreement. he grossly inflated the value of his assets and his properties, and that is a violation of new york state law and not only that, he used those inflated valuations to get loans and lower premiums from insurers, and that is also a violation of new york state law. she's basically saying, judge, you can make the decision right now. you don't need to have a trial on this because there's no dispute about these facts. >> and hannah, you know, being a billionaire is a big part of
