a hurricane watch meaning some high tides, west of 19 in levy county they have recommended a voluntary evacuation saying they could get 8 feet of storm surge according to the local eoc in levy county, that's north of citrus county. as we look at the lines of equal pressure here you can see that southwesterly breeze as we get into later tomorrow, friday and saturday, that's problematic as we all know for the onshore flow holding in and pushing the tides into intercoastal waterways, higher tide levels as well and that's up and down the west coast of florida. obviously closer to the center of circulation you're going to have higher seas and greater concern for that and that's why the tropical storm warning including the possibility of seeing some tropical storm forced gusts in that area. marginal risk here from the hpc saying the high wind gusts and isolated tornados in the forecast for the rest of today and certainly for tomorrow with an area of concern as well is always the possibility you can potential rotation in the atmosphere that could cause some small tornados. a lot of dry air co
