which brings me live to anthony slaughter live out there at the lexington reservoir. it's interesting because in 2011 the lexington reservoir was actually overflowing into a spillway. now those levels are really low. how low is it out there? >> reporter: well, officials say that it's about 3% below where it -- or 3%, less than 3% of its water levels now and of course in 2011 it was spilling over. nothing like that now. and officials are urging folks to try to reduce water use over the next few weeks and months to come because reservoir levels are again only at 3% of where they should be. so things like showering or watering your lawn or even just car wash, things like that you can do your part to at least help some of this water worry that we do have. of course it is raining so you want to take it easy outside. and it's not getting the ground impressively wet but in the past hour the ground is starting to moisten up. you get out this morning, allow extra time for the drive and of course, keep in mind it's not going to be the best hair day. back to you. >> you look goo
