looking at the lexington reservoir today it's at 100%.king back to december 1st it was down to 33.3% so a huge increase in just over the past 45 days. still rain in the area but is moving off to the east. we're still seeing lingering showers for the east bay, concord and antioch and discovery bay. it's getting lighter as you move over to los altos and we'll see the back edge of that more widespread rain starting to continue to move on through. we're looking at still some wet roads for the tri-valley. take a look at 580, so sloppy out there. a lot of puddles. right now it's only 44 degrees. we'll see about another hour of that rainfall and then mostly cloudy as we go into the rest of the day. eventually we'll make it to sunshine. we won't be completely done with all of this. usually when we get the colder air coming in on the back edge of these systems as they move out, we see a few spotty thunderstorms and that's exactly what the models are starting to depict here at about 11:00 it's moving into the santa cruz mountains with some brief, h

looking at the lexington reservoir that's at 57% of capacity, a big rise from where we were even just a month ago. the uvas reservoir that overtopped some of its banks over the weekend still 100% of capacity and we're at 91% of capacity for east bay mud, also a big increase for our north bay reservoirs at 71% of capacity. keeping an eye on the rivers, creeks and streams. the russian river 4 feet below the flood stage. the napa river is also about the same and then we're looking at the coyote creek that's 2 feet below flood stage, is also very close for the guadalupe and almaden expressway, just about 3 feet below flood stage currently. we've had a lot of rain and we saw the rainfall totals anywhere from an inch in the south bay to over 10 inches for parts of the north bay. some of our hills that had over 12 inches of rainfall and so we're just looking for somewhere for all of this water to go as we see the next storm targeting the bay area. we can see the clouds out in the pacific. here is the center of the storm. you can see that big connection of that tropical moisture that's stream
