leyla santiago, thank you, live from granville county. >>> and more than 100 felons are in custody of the u.s. marshals thanks to an operation. >> reporter: they started picking up these criminals on february 23rd. this is not an undercover operation at all. they were targeting people that were wanted already. the operation zero hour has served 170 warrants. and managed to take weapons off the the streets. including half dozen high powered rifles and loaded hand guns. 180 lawmen from 21 different agencies were part of this operation which was kept relatively secret. most of the arrests were made here in robinson county but some were arrested out of state, including one suspect picked up in new york. authorities say that the suspects face a variety of very serious charges. >> there were a lot of felon this is week that did, in fact, have guns. that is a charge in federal court where if someone is convict, they face up to ten years in prison and if they are an armed criminal, they face not less than 15 years up to life in prison. we are also looking for cases for possible drug prosecuti
