who are the folks on the left and the right of that are are lg out of the system. with the premise and the cap yacht that the majority of people in the kind of cafeteria metaphor the biggest table is still kind of the black establishment folks that are going to need to democratic tifoparty voters and folks who believe largely operating in the systems as they are instructed even though they believe the systems need to change or be reformed, but not folks that are here necessarily for a full-scale overhaul of things as they exist but rather folks that believe in the arc of history working towards the equitable outcome. yours focuses on people that are not at the table. who e are the folks in this are? >> so this was one of my favorite parts of doing this because particularly i wrote it between late summer of 2020 and december of 2021. so we were still heavily quarantined and the way we were socializing was different and the ways in which i was able to even find my own community through these interviews and so i interviewed black voters in the ages of 18 and tried to
