my lifeways thought of to some extent as a third learning, a third serving and about 10 years ago my wife and i dedicate the rest of our lives to public service. april had been doing it and for the time, she runs washington office of a group called common sense media and very active, not only in philanthropic work but in nonprofit communications work kids and thearound media and so we decided collectively to really make a run at public service for the lives. our that led me to run for congress was firsten i elected. >> how did you meet her? >> i met her my third year. her second year. the first week of school so i lawin my last year of school, she was in her second. we were out in friends, i was friends,a dozen of my she was out with about a dozen of her friends and we met at a in town. we had some mutual friends. we talked for a while, spent a her and we hadh a nice conversation and then the the law i saw her at school at georgetown and she was sitting in the lobby, picking her classes because back then you remember the way you had to pick out classes we a big book and you would fil
