many multinationals like hp, intel, cisco, and chevron are doing well in china. they're making money in china. at the same time, as the close relationship is going on, many chinese companies are working in san francisco in california. i would like to name a few. the tsl, ciuts, just to name a few. these are successful chinese companies working here. as the american companies in china, the chinese companies working in california in san francisco are also making contributions to job creation and the development of the economy in local areas. we're thinking these are very good signs. as the previous speakers mentioned, we paid a visit to the united states last february. governor brown proposed that we set up a working group for the u.s., a state, and china provinces to cooperate. we call this a working group, a joint working group of provinces and the states. at that time, the vice president made a very good, very positive response for the proposal. after the vice-president returned to china, we worked very hard on the proposal and my visit this time is to further t

. >> why don't you like hp? >> we don't like hp because they have an identity crisis. they're try to trying to be a consumer and a corporate company. meg whitman decided not to spin off pcs which i think is fine. but longer-term they have to look at what are we? and ultimately i think they may take the pc and printer big and spin it off. because those assets are probably declining value. print ert, great business, great tech franchise. i think it's peaked. printers will come under increasing pressure from tablets and asian competitors. stock obviously way down. we think a couple more points to the downside. >> how long do you think it tabs meg whitman to realize what you hope she does finally do? >> i don't think it's the first priority. she's got a lot of other things to fix. i think she's doing a good job in terms of centralizing strategy and marketing. i think it's going to take some time and our breakup value on hp is near 30 bucks a share. so what they don't execute well i think there's going to be increasing investor pressure to think about splitting the company

i think someone like dell and hp is reality that guys like acer are getting increasingly aggressive in. you know, we do see growth, it's just coming to different vendors, but not dell. >> i want to follow up, dell, i guess sort of sees the writing on the wall here, and it has been moving itself away which are half of it's revenues. it's been making acquisitions in places like store rage and software, will it be able to save the stock. >> the question comes down is can they get away from the pc department. so far, the answer to that has been no. we may see a potential benefit with the stock getting more aggressive and doing bigger deals verses the smaller deals. that will be an exit out of the business model. >> spending more money is not necessarily the answer, spending it smarter is. and i don't contest the idea that these two companies, hewlett packard and dell, but for intellectual property. rim and nokia, i would argue, are companies with known franchises and substantial intellectual property port foal yous and both companies could be acquired for not a tremendous amount of money.
