lilian kim is live with a look at the investigation. lilian? >> police say the sar son nis may -- the arsonist may have struck again. they just put out a small grass fire on top of the hill behind me, very close to one of the fires that broke out overnight. investigators say the latest fire on a grassy hill above redwood boulevard looks like the work of the same arsonist that kept firefighters busy until 3:00 this morning. over a six-hour period they put out more than 15 fires in five separate locations. >> it is scary. it is a very dry, and this place could go down fast. >> almost all of the fires were set in a grassy area in southern novato. investigators went back to the area today in hopes of finding some evidence. novato police say officers collected several items. >> it could be trash in the vicinity. but items that would be suspicious if it were related to a fire. >> none of the fire reached any homes, but a few came close which is why police are devoting a lot of resources to this case. they want to catch the person responsible before a
