and let's get more now we're joined by lily carlisle who is with the u.n. h.c.r. in amman jordan welcome to the program and thank you for joining us i'd like to begin by looking at what your report says which is basically that the number of people displaced around the world is is unprecedented right now what needs to be done to help these people good afternoon and it is great to be joining you from here right now yes indeed the numbers of force displacement are huge and they doubled since 2010 and here in jordan for example it's hosted 650000 refugees which is that 2nd highest per capita globally and it's you know a wanting to advocate that more international solidarity has to be done to try and bring solutions to these refugees. yeah and when you look at bringing solutions i mean for a lot of them displacement is a long term problem especially where you are because there are hundreds of thousands of syrian refugees in camps in jordan and they cannot go home. why is it becoming so much harder for displaced people to return exactly and as you mentioned the syrian c
