government@@@ @ v people like rush limbaugh and one back and the tea parties and sarah palin all espousing-- government cannot help you. government can do no good. this anti-government campaign has had a real impact in the thinking of many people of this country. they do not realize what government has done and can do. they do not realize the contributions to people in terms of social security and medicare. they do not realize the contributions that government has made in so many other areas. i felt that even some of the bills that we passed, once they becameç law, the public took tm for granted. of course we are not going to have cigarette smoking on the airlines. some of the people, as i look out in the audience, do remember those days, but a lot of younger people here would think it would be barbaric to go on an airplane flight for 5.5 hours and have to breathe in someone else's tobacco smoke people take for granted that they could go into a supermarket and look at the nutritional labels so that they can be empowered to regulate their diets, because diet is so important to help. people

then this was followed byÑi rus limbaugh. he said he wanted the president to fail., that means that the whole country fail. the president try to, you know, be bipartisan, trying to work with the republican. who basically have no interest in working with this guy. some of this -- they have to show that they are a -- this party, they have this image in the senate. yeah, they couldn't get anything done. so i could not imagine a republican having 50 votes in the senate. whatever they want to do, true. so please, tell the president. stop this bipartisan. stop. as long as you have good agenda, that is going to benefit. host: richmond, virginia, up next. marie on our independent line. caller: hello. host: hello. caller: i am -- i disagree with the mr. luce's statement shoot for the moon. i think that is absolutely exactly what bullies do and bullies don't always win and unfortunately, they may seem to win in the beginning but in the end, they always lose. i also disagree very much with the president saying the other day and i watched almost every minute of the seven hours.

rush limbaugh had a funny line when he asked, what do god and barack obama have been common? his answer is, neither one of them have a birth certificate. it is a funny line. as with all humor, it contains only some truth. let me preface this by saying, i am a christian. i make no apologies about that. i am a follower of jesus christ. [applause] i recognize that there are people of many faiths here with us today and in this movement. i want to share with you today how the most important birth in history, that of jesus of nazareth, was so well documented, unlike barack obama's. jesus established himself as the messiah and savior of the world into separate and distinct genealogical records. one goes all the way back to adam, and another traces his kingly lineage back to abraham. even if there were no birth certificates maintained a 2000 years ago in ancient israel, there is no doubt about where he was born, when, and his parentage. teases recognized those qualifications were essential to establishing his right to his earthly throne as king of the jews. look at your bible. the fi
