in 2013, limbert was promoted to sergeant.was elected president of the san francisco police officer's pride alliance. an organization that represents roughly 200lgbt employees of the department. after taking office e he had questions about the group's finances and ordered a review. but after discoverying irregularities, he didn't report it and he's accused of pressuring fellow officers to look the other way. >> can you give it to me? >> as we were first to report, pride alliance treasurer and officer, mike evans, resigned from the department. after he withdrew more than $15,000 from the group's account. pulling money from atm's and paying personal bills. the district attorney is deciding whether to file criminal charges. we've learned getting the case to the d.a. almost didn't happen. >> were there attempts to keep this quiet? >> i was told it was not a police situation. it was just a pride alliance and that no one would go forward to the police department that it would be handled internally. >> this pride alliance board membe
