and abc2 news linda so is live in northeast baltimore and linda, you're near morgan state right? >> reporter: about a mile away. we actually moved our location so we could be right in front of this house to show you just how intense the fire was. you can see the siding there melted from the fire. the windows all busted. the door is gone. two men died in this fire. five people got out safely. including a pregnant woman. the first victim was found inside the house on the first floor. the second victim was discovered outside right by the basement door and we're hearing reports that victim initially got out but may have been trying to go back inside when he was killed. the fire broke out just after 11:30 last night in the 3,000 block of montebello terrace right off harford road right behind the safeway when firefighters got here it was so intense they were not able to get inside. a second alarm was called firefighters eventually made it in and discovered the body of that first victim. now the five people who made it out including the pregnant woman. they all had nonlife- threatening

linda so is live this morning at the hospital with all the details. linda. >> reporter: later this morning, we will get a chance to meet the soldier and the surgeon who performed the complex transplant. they will hold a news conference here at the hospital at 11 this morning. this is video from before the transplant. brendan marrocco is the first to survive lieuing all four limbs in the iraq war. he underwent the complex transplant last month and it's the first time hopkins performed a double arm transplant involving connecting bones blood vessels muscles and nerves and skin on both arms. it involved a innovative treatment involving the deaddonor's bone marrow to help hisbody from reexpwrecting the limbs. -- rejecting the limbs. he is one of 7 u.s. soldiers to received a successful double arm transplant. he will spend the next 3 to 4 months at hopkins and will return to a military hospital for further physical therapy. that news conference is scheduled for 11 this morning. we are live at hopkins, linda so, abc2 news. >>> first you had to worry about t

abc2 news linda so is out on york road this morning and linda i know the situation out there is pretty bad. what are you seeing? >> reporter: the road is completely flooded out. we're here along york road. this whole road this intersection here is flooded out. they have a truck state highway administration is manning this lane right here. the signage it says high water. directing traffic into that one lane because that lane happens to be flooded out from all that rain. chances are you heard it overnight while you were sleeping. and this is what it's resulting in this morning. so as you're getting ready for work, getting the kids ready for school, keep in mind that you want to take some extra time because your normal route may have to be detoured because of flooded out streets like this one. again, no matter how shallow the water may look, you never want to drive through standing water because you never know how deep it is. it doesn't take that much for your car to stall out. so you want to heed those warnings and pay attention to those signs. we did make several calls around to area di

we're live in towson, linda so, abc2 news. >>> well, that's good advice linda. never drive through standing water and you never know how deep it is. flooding is a problem right now across the region. we have flooding in 97 in anne arundel county at both directions at hoods mill road and more problems in carroll county. be extra careful on 795 right at main street. in baltimore county you want to be careful in cockeysville height on western run road at western road. as well as york road at sherwood road. 83 going to be clear and as we check in and actually take a look at the west side of the beltway here at liberty road you'll notice everything moving right along. just 11 minutes right now to travel the outer loop from 795 down to 95. as we take a look at the other abc2 timesaver traffic drive times, the east side of the beltway no problems to report there. 11 minute ride from 95 all the way up to 83. and that outer loop. and 95 in white marsh no concerns traveling southbound from route 43 down to the beltway. that stretch will take you just four minutes. that's
