a woman named linda who said she was told to shut the door and get inside and she and she hasn't been told to get out. we have tom arriving at the scene. in this live report. what can you tell us ? >> i'll tell you what i know, we've been collecting this off scanners and everything else and at 10:30 this morning, we got reports of shots fired near the dining area of the va veteran's home north of napa. a radio report suggested -- shots were fired. at 11:15 that we did confirm that there were three hostages by napa valley fire. there's reports that the shooter is dressed in black with body armor. police told our mark ibanez who was trying to shoot video to get down because the shooter was armed with some sort of an automatic weapon. scanner trafficking indicates there's two or three hostages inside of madison hall and he fired 20 -- and it appears again from scanner traffic that the shooter is known to local law enforcement. the shooter's car is quarentine in the parking lot and multiple agencies are responding and we have seen quite a few of those coming. that is the current situation that we are aware of right n
