linda: any other questions? >> about the robert mueller investigation. there has been a lot of speculation that the president made. the white house has said that they thought they had the authority to do it. you had said in the past that it was caused chaos. given the white house interpretation that they had the authority. do you think congress needs to do something to protect him? why or why not? sen. corker: chris and i are very close. we have worked together on all kinds of legislation and have much more to do before we leave. i have told him that i will support appropriate legislation to protect robert mueller. he knows that. i signed on day one on a letter and he decided not to do it. do i think president trump at sign a legislation? i doubt it. sounds like mitch mcconnell poured cold water in that. look, i have no reason to have anything but faith in what robert mueller is doing. i have said to the president personally that i think it is best for him that the investigation be completed and not interfered with, especially said he, you know, adamantly says there is nothing there to hide. so, i hope that it doesn't happe

[laughter] >> it is more of an observation than a question, but it seems to me that we are left with the question of property. is one of the applications to take away is that for white women, these white women, the ability to invest and own property also affects their alignment, if that makes sense? >> i think it makes sense. like i said, it is hard to make direct connections, but i think for some, we forget to put white women into families. families care about preserving property. -- preserving property for the next generation, particularly if you have it, right? and this is also true of men. we forget to put all of them into families that make those decisions together. i look at the 2016 poll numbers, right? men and women were more likely to vote for trump made more than .100,000 a year they were more rural, evangelical, more likely to be married, less likely to have a college education. i think there is a class distinction there that is cap -- powerful, and it is a myth that it is the white working class. that needs to be overturned. people over 40 and people making more than less debt people under 40 and people making less than people under 40 and people making
