. >> on to lindenhurst, new jersey where a major fire at a recycling center is off. three firefighters were hurting >> reporter: rob investigators are here at the scene trying to figure out what started the fire at the recycling plant. you can see the investigators are still here. as you said, three firefighters suffered minor injuries, all home now. the fire started just before 11:30 this morning here on page avenue. 50 firefighters responded from lyndhurst and surrounding towns. it started in a building that houses compact recycling material. this plant deals with paper products. the fire was so deep seeded in the material, a wall had to be knocked down. the fire spread to a nearby plastics business. smoke may have noticed smoke or haze outside their window. the chief tells us it's nothing to worry about. >> there was a large area of smoke in the town with the weather conditions, it was very humid. but there was no concern for that. it was just ordinary paper products burning. >> reporter: the building behind me, that is deemed unstable. the cause under investigati
