lindsay, let's kick off the discussion with you. how is the u.s.conomy doing compared to everyone else? can the theme seema hit on continue? >> well, that really is the point. when you talk about the best, you're talking about a comparison to the other economies across the globe, each of which are facing their own strongles and trials at this point. so the distinction of best, or that determinate, is less impressive than it was a few years ago, given the state of the competitor. i like to think of it as the ugly girl and pretty girl contest. comparing us to europe, we're sitting pretty, but the fundamentals have not changed. we're still bouncing along, and we're still a far way away from talking about a robust economy. >> we've seen some pick up. >> we have. 2.1%, actually. it's a slow crawl. but it's the best if you look at the maturing countries. >> are you talking gdp growth? >> right, exactly. realistically, four years into the recovery. at the slow-crawl rate, you could be looking at another four to five years. therefore, that would put us at
