lindsey watts live in tacoma with video you'll only see on "fox5". lindsay. jim, lauren, police say the man was with his family in washington add convenienttis. they were committing him to the hospital this afternoon when he decided he did not want to be here. he changed his blind. police say he locked himself in a family then when officers arrived he took off. he ran over one of the police officers feat foot with the car and then hit a parked car. showing you video the man ended up back at his home underwood street northwest d.c. a mile and a half from the hospital. you can see the big police response. investigators have tacoma park and district were here and d.c. also brought out chopper it search. police say the man was hiding in the attic of a house. they say that the floor gave way and he ended up falling on top of the officers who were inside looking for him. no officers were injured. and police say the suspect did have injuries from that fall and we were there as he was taken from the 40e78 and let out by police and put into an ambulance. tonight, taco
