now police need help >>> lindsey watts has been following this and joins us with the latest. ter:. >> reporter: police been here for hours, they're still here now investigating their canvassing the apartment building and handling out flyers that have pictures of the suspect in this case. it appears that this was a random crime, police say the victim in the hospital with significant injuries investigators say it was around 9:00 when the suspect showed up at the apartment building and started banking on doors claiming he was a maintenance worker. when the victim opened the door. he forced his way inside, attacked and sexual assaulted her and took off. the suspect is about 6 feet tall, they think he's in his early 20's. based on the surveillance images, seems like i may be familiar with this apartment building. and one resident tells us he thinks he has seen the guy before. >> i do think i saw him he's trying to get into this building before. >> i've seen patrons let people in just thinking they looked, you know, above board, and so we need not to do that anymore. >> reporter: th
