eagles announced rookie linebacker jordan hicks who has been their best linebacker all season he is out for the season with a torn pectoral tendon. he made a huge play before he suffered that injury with the birds and cowboys tied at 14 he stepped in front of that pass and returned it 67 yards for the touchdown. that gave the eagles a seven-point lead. that lead though short lived. a few plays later matt castle running for his life just threw it up and dez bryant all 6-foot two of him sky high to make that catch. eventually went to overtime. bradford and matthews hooked up for a perfect play and the game winning touchdown. eagles won 33-27. after the game bradford recounterred the conversation he had with matthews in the huddle. >> i told him i got the call from chip and i came to the huddle and i said hey i'm coming to you. and sure enough he ran the route and the run after the catch was huge. >> i did my job. it's not like some irrelevant thing happened. i did what i was supposed to do dam i went out played hard made plays for my team. that's what they need from me this whole season.
