and it caused linzie janis has more. four men charged in the hazing death of a new york college student-- are now waiting to learn their fate. the men charged pleaded guilty yesterday to voluntary manslaughter in the death of 19-year-old chen michael deng. they're accused of beating deng during a hazing ritual in 20-13, then trying to cover up the crime as he lay dying. defense attorneys called deng's death a fraternity prank gone horribly awry. theyn all face up to 3 years in prison when they are sentenced in december. covering metro.. the transit agency is facing yet another problem. it involves machines called chillers, which keep riders cool. the chillers are located 30 feet beneath connecticut avenue. as part of the system, pipes carry water between the chillers and a cooling station more than 11 stories high. but the pipes are broken, and replacing them will process. metro is now working on a temporary fix. it would bypass the broken pipes, but still pump cold air into the stations. well despite using the sure-fire

linzie janis with us. >> reporter: good morning, paula and dan.ebrating their recent marriage on a sailing trip in the caribbean when he says disaster struck, but this morning, the fbi is checking out his story. this morning, the fbi trying to find out what happened to florida mother isabella hellmann, after she vanished on a sailing trip with her husband louis bennett. the newlyweds setting off from cuba the evening of may 14th. at 1:30 a.m. the authorities getting a distress signal. off the coast of the bahamas. >> the initial report we got, the catamaran hit an object. >> reporter: three hours later, the rescuers discovered the boat. discovering bennett a life raft. no sign of hellmann. mother to their 9-month-old daughter. bennett tells authorities he last saw his wife on deck. at about 8:00 p.m. >> she was piloting the vessel at that point. that was the last time she was seen by him. >> reporter: the coast guard scouring nearly 7,000 miles of ocean, but calling off the search after three days. now, investigators looking into what happened on

here's linzie janis. >> reporter: tonight, florida mother isabella hellmann is missing, vanished while sailing with her husband. at 1:30 a.m. on may 15th, authorities getting a distress call from the couple's boat off the coast of the bahamas. three hours later, rescuers spot the overturned boat, discovering helmann's husband louis bennett in a life raft, but no sign of hellmann, a realtor and mom to their 9-month-old daughter. bennett says he last saw his wife keeping watch at 8:00 p.m. the night before. he went below deck to sleep and woke up when the boat hit something. >> the initial report that we had was that the catamaran vessel struck an unknown submerged object and began taking on water. >> reporter: the coast guard scouring 7,000 square miles of ocean. now, the fbi investigating. >> when they called in the fbi to look at this. obviously there was something suspicious. >> reporter: the fbi has declined to comment. bennett said he was leaving for cuba to continue to search the for his wife. >> thank you. >>> the city bus slamming into a warehouse. >>> and you saw the deadly pol
