thank you, lisa. pg&e has restored power to more than 4,000 customers affected by on outage in half moon bay. the lights went out yesterday afternoon and electricity was restored by 10:00 last night. so far this morning we are not hearing about any new outages in the bay area. another 500 customers lost power briefly yesterday afternoon in pittsburgh and bay point. this was caused by a car running into a power pole. and in redwood city and belmont, service is back to normal following two separate outages caused by downed trees on friday night. and here is an example of the storm-related problems that pg&e is facing. in oakland winds knocked down a tree at quickly street near 580. oakland firefighters and pg&e crews were dispatched to the scene after the tree fell on a power line leading to one home. the house was damaged, too, and the tree also hit a car that was parked nearby. well, despite the rain, a lot of folks are counting on this weekend. they've gotta try to finish up their holiday shopping. l
