lee says connection -- lisa's connection with these surt luck or destiny. she moved to san jose and was working as a litigation attorney for an intellectual property law firm and finishing the prerequisites for medical school. at least twice a day she would drive down meridian ave and go past a strange looking building that defined itself as indian health center. she would think to yourself, i should see if that place needs volunteers. one day she called, and of -- beloved physician we had identified a project for lisa and actor -- ask her to consider joining the board of directors. with leases unique legal and medical backgrounds, benefits from having both in a single board member we save some times. thank you. and her commitment and leadership have helped guide through more than a decade of growth and the challenges that come with it. her quick, usually irreverent and sometimes wacky, actually always wacky sense of humor enlivens the board meetings, and may leave her in the future to the stage at one of my agencies comedy jam event. lisa looks forward to

lisa sylvester standing by with more. so what's the story behind these latest numbers? >> okay, wolf. we're going to talk you through the numbers. first, the positive news. unemployment, as you mentioned, it did tick down from 9% to 8.6% in the month of november. that is very good news. and if you take a look at it in terms of the jobs created, 120,000 jobs that is higher than what economists were estimating. they were predicting around the range of 110,000 jobs. and as an added bonus, take a look. these numbers have actually been revised higher. the numbers for the prior three months, october, september and august. significantly higher than what was initially reported. that's all the positive news. but we have to qualify all of this. we can take a look. here's the thing. 120,000 jobs it might sound actually like a lot. but if you want to create more jobs and actually bring down, lower the unemployment rate, you're going to have to do a lot better than just 120,000 jobs. in order to really make a dent and bring down the unemployment number, the economy needs to create a

lisa amin gulezian is live in santa clara with the crucial decision. lisa? >> reporter: the majority of votes at tonight's meeting support the stadium plan, and they were over joyed with tonight's decision. the billboard posted in front of an empty parking lot is a sign of things to come. tonight santa clara stadium authority and the city council voted unanimously to accept a financing plan which allows for construction on the actual stadium to begin next year. >> really excited. it is a great time to be working for the 49ers and it is a great time to be a 49er fan. it is a great milestone for this project. >> reporter: three lenders, bank of america, u.s. bank and goldman sachs has agreed loan the stadium authority $850 million. if the stadium authority can't pay the loan back, the 49ers will. >> i am not concerned at all. it has not gone up, and we will follow-up all of our risk and we are not on the hook. the 49ers and the nfl is on the hook. >> reporter: this is how the funding breaks down. the total cost is just over $1 billion. $850 million will come f
