here is lisa argen. >> warm to hot conditions around the bay. in fact we're looking at temperatures today much warmer than yesterday. no fog and temperatures are responding to a warmer start for the day. a sea breeze and half moon bay is at 57. 70 in livermore and 67 in san jose right now. carolyn talked about spare-the-air day, but the worst air quality, santa clara valley where temperatures will be flirted go with 100 degrees. tomorrow we'll look more of the sea breeze. today they'll be relief at the coast with numbers in the 70s there. almost 20 degrees warmer in san francisco as we hit the 87. oakland will be 13 degrees warmer. 7 degrees warmer in san jose. a look at when we'll see a break from the heat coming up a little bit later. >> thank you lisa. >> other news this morning, san jose police are investigating a shooting in the 1300 block of eden avenue. police say the victim described as a white or latino man was taken to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. police arrived on the scene after getting a call about the incident lat

lisa argen is here to talk about our weather. we went from those really hot temperatures that neither one of us cares for now down to this. >> aids walk could be on the warm side. following the ups and downs in the weather, that is what we like to do, santa cruz still kind of cool with marine layer firmly entrenched along the central coast. well to the north we are looking cloudy conditions outside the studios. airport is sunny right now. fog has encompassed much of the san mateo coast and crossed eastward into oakland. livermore in low 60s and up to the north, we've got cloudy skies throughout much of marin county but we will be seeing the clouds peel back and a lot of sunshine today despite that stronger onshore push this afternoon which will provide cooler temperatures inland today but nice and nights and morning fog could provide the drizzle and then wednesday morning with a stronger system heading our way. below temperatures through wednesday and things will begin to change. here is what is going on now. area of low pressure

lisa argen is in for mike this morning. what do you think she is going to tell us? >> if you do like it. slightly warmer temperatures but today is beginning the warming trend. it's going to stick with us through the weekend. we do have fog around the bay not reaching inland. it's clear in concord. also by the delta clear skies with southwesterly wind up to 15 miles an hour having to dissipate the stagnant air out there. we are looking the fog to burn back quickly to allow for a little bit of warming coming our day today. 2-3 degrees warming each day for temperatures to peak this weekend really to around normal. here is a look at the fog. we've got it all along the coast. it's about 1,000 feet deep. anywhere 1200 feet deep around santa cruz but everyone will enjoy sunshine today with temperatures around the bay in to the upper 80s in warmest inland valleys. san francisco coming in at 67 today. oakland is coming in at 72. a look at seven-day coming up. >>> we have an accident northbound 880 on the off-ramp off-ramp closed and sig alert is in effect this hour. nick smi

lisa argen has the answer to that and she is in for mike nicco this morning. >> looks like the 49ers build their santa clara stadium without having to share with the raiders. they report under the new deal between the n.f.l. owners and players there is more money to build and renovate stid yums. and their ability to get a loan of $100 million. the owner says they don't need to partner with the raiders to finance the birl yon dollar project. so far only quarter of the funding has been secured. >> scaled back high speed rail plan is now in the, with after residents complained b of elevated tracks. they wanted to minimize new construction by modernizing existing caltrain tracks. high speed rail authority put the plan on hold saying it needs to know what the bay area really wants. bay area council and metropolitan transportation commission have the spring of 2013 to come up with an answer. >> it's foggy and muggy out there. got any drizzle, too, lisa? >> not that much drizzle but clouds are evaporating. high pressure is beginning to press down on the atmosphere, here the view from above.

let's get a check of the accu-weather forecast with lisa argen. >> good morning. the bay to livermore, concord till about 10:00, 11:00. point reyes just about 60 there. 70s around the bay. if you have been liking this weather. you'll like today, unseasonably cool numbers with just some 80s out there. if you are headed to the sierra nevada risk of showers and thunderstorms. flash lood watch out around yosemite and points south and heat from the san joaquin to the san jose valley here. we will be looking at the moisture moving on in to the south bay, southern monterey and san benito county tomorrow. today, mist and low clouds, drizzle, 49 minute delays at sfo and then clearing. partly sunny conditions. that will lead us to a pretty nice afternoon with some 60s on the coast. warmest numbers on the inland valleys around 90. look ahead, add in the low clouds not only tomorrow morning mid-level and high-level clouds. a chance of showers from the south bay towards monterey but other than that we're looking at the low clouds and fog to stay clearing back to the coast. it'

here a lisa argen. >> good morning. marine layer, mount tam about 1500 feet deep and looking at a cooler day all around the bay. 53 in san francisco as well as fremont with numbers in the mid and upper 50s in the south half of the bay. we are cooler this morning, as much as 35-6 degrees cooler by the delta and 5-6 degrees cooler around san jose. trough of low pressure that will be parked around the north coastguard for the next several case. as it remains there, it will usher in that cooler air but start out progressively cloudier day by day. we're getting partly cloudy skies early in san francisco and at sfo 38 minute delays on arriving flights. our temperatures cooler than where we should, 63 downtown. 76 in fremont and warming up to the mid-80s in inland valleys. that is going to be down several degrees from yesterday, about 10 degrees cooler than yesterday. headed to the giants game, temperatures will be starting out in the 60s dropping throughout the day, kind of breezy with sunshine and look ahead, mid-80s warmest
