said the weather could crest at four feet above flood stage this morning. >>> our meteorologist lisa argen is tracking the storm with leave doppler 7 hd and she's at the weather center with the latest on which areas, lisa, are getting hit really hard right now? >> right here, carolyn. the report of a mudslide up in sonoma county. and watch out napa. right now getting the very heavy rain from mount saint heleena. that's where the radar is. you see the cold front draped from the north back westward. heavy rain from highway 12 through here. 48 miles an hour at the airport, 37 miles an hour half moon bay, up to 30 down around san jose. look at livermore, 41 miles an hour. just got a report from the oakland airport with the wind gust of 45 miles an hour. so if you are not getting the heavy, heavy rain in the south bay, you are getting the wind and the rain in the east bay from 680 to 80. take a look north of richmond, venire shaw, concord, and it's come down harder now. sycamore valley road and it's beginning to pick up a little bit in san francisco. but it's still well up in the north bay. you

leigh glaser is off and lisa argen is in checking our weather. >> all the cold weather. clearing skies and nice break from the rain and as we look outside this evening, in fact temperatures are very chilly. view from mount tam, numbers dropping into the 30s and n some of our valleys. we are going to have wait couple days. live doppler, nice and clear right now. we do have a couple weak weather systems that will travel down the shoreline and want to give us a few showers but it doesn't look likely at this point. right now, high temperatures that were pretty chilly and 57 in oakland with the warm spot and mid 50s in san rafael. 52 in santa cruz. upper 30s, 37 in napa and 39 in fairfield and 40 in mountain view. numbers will slowly drop. skies will continue to clear and we'll get some of that patchy frost in north and east bay valleys with numbers already as much as eight degrees cooler than last night at this time. definitely a chillier evening. this is going to be the way it will play out the next several nights. skies will remain clear and weak weather systems give us a

here's meteorologist lisa argen. >> good morning, everyone. we are starting out with fog in the north bay valleys. a live look outside shows downtown looking pretty good. as we take a look at the visibility, from san francisco on south, ten mile visibility, but elsewhere we are looking at a quarter mile visibility. santa rosa and napa a half file. be careful out there. we will see some of the fog drift to the south and east of the as you head out there are areas of dense fog this morning, otherwise that should lift by about 8:00 and we will be looking at temperatures warming up into the 60s today. low to mid-60s around the bay and a chilly evening. really looking at pleasant weather the next several days with our numbers warming a few degrees. katie. >> quite a difference a week makes. thank you, lisa. new this morning police in pleasant hill have arrested three teenagers following an explosion. abc7 news reporter is live. they have reason to believe the teenagers had plans for more destruction? >> absolutely, katie. good morning. authorities

meteorologist lisa argen with the weather. break with the worst yet to come. >> lisa: plenty of rain out there right now. it is our break. heaviest system and the one that is going to come in tonight and tomorrow. still slated to bring in several inches of rain. this is light stuff. as we take a look outside in the sierra nevada it is raining there. we had sunshine in the mid 40s at tahoe airport. wind gusts up to 46 miles an hour. a lot of these places wanted to open with the higher bases with the wet snow but the wind can gust up to 70 miles an hour. probably not going to happen. san mateo bridge right now, very cloudy. there has been an advisory on local bridges with gusts over 35 miles an hour. emeryville, light to moderate rain all morning long but we are looking at things drying out in the north bay. we will get into drier skies throughout the afternoon before the last and significant heavy rainmaker comes our way. live doppler 7-hd. you will notice the lighter shades indicated the lighter rain up towards the delta into t

let's begin with our meteorologist lisa argen who is tracking the storm will live doppler 7 hd. >> good morning, everyone. your eye goes right to the red and this is where it is draped from the sacramento valley back to clear lake and windsor and santa rosa. the back edge has been pushing through ukiah and with it the very gusty winds preceding the gusts. we have wind gusts up to 51 miles an hour at the airport, 38 miles an hour winds from hayward. a little lighter but still at the higher elevations you are seeing 63 miles an hour wind gusts down to about 2,000 feet down in the south bay. here's the north bay. look at the heavy rain from richmond, martinez and berkeley, now pushing into the east bay. and 580 and back westward. 280 in san francisco. not only looking it he rain but gusty winds. lighter rains into fremont and union city and the south bay. this will all continue to increase throughout the day. the first half of the day looking much, much different than the second half. carolyn. >> lisa, you are the key person

let's check in with our meteorologist lisa argen. >> we are looking at san rafael where the winds areelop along the coast n the north bay look at the heavy rain from santa rosa to forestville down through bodega bay. a break in petaluma, napa looking at some needing, and more rain in san francisco. down through daly city and across the bay bridge to oakland, alameda getting wet. and the east bay from milpitas to westward some enhanced cells here. dublin and livermore a heavier rainband here and more heavy rain from the santa cruz mountains down through castroville, also morgan hill, gilroy, 101. lighter rain to the north in san jose but half moon bay you see the yellows and the oranges right here. accompanying the rain are the gusty winds. up to 26 miles an hour in san jose where 33 miles an hour gusts and airport delays of over 1.5 hours at sfo. rain here translates to snow in the sierra nevada. a winter storm warning through 4:00 tomorrow. white-out conditions, very difficult travel. and as we clear out the mid-afternoon the rain will continue to turn to snow as it heads to the sier
