let's start with a quick look at the weather with our meteorologist lisa argen. >>> carolyn, good morning to you. we're seeing signs of cooling. maybe you're feeling it at your house. here's a look at live doppler 7. you can see the fog up and down the shore. the southerly winds started last night. transporting that cooler marine air up the coast to the north bay. not so much in the east bay. you will feel cooler today. no more triple digits. looking at numbers ranging from the 50s in the north bay to 50 in san jose. a red flag warning until 8:00 tonight. upper elevation temperatures are up. relative humidity is up. the possibility of some high perhaps be fire danger. temperatures in the mid-80s inland by noontime. 90s in our inland valleys by the afternoon. it will be still cool and gray at the coast. carolyn? >>> lisa, speaking of fire danger, we begin with developing news out of lake county where a brush sfier is growing and mandatory vac situations have been ordered. the pawnee fire broke out yesterday afternoon, pushed by high wintds. the fire has burned 1,000 ache eshs. at least ten

lisa argen is tracking the conditions for us. but change is on the way. >> that's right. the hottest day we've seen all year. and look at santa cruz, the marine layer already compressed. lots of sunshine out there. and the numbers at the coast are cool. in the 40s closer to home, 50 here, 56 in san francisco. looking at 62 in san jose. 48 half moon bay. from pier 39, nobody there. the sea lions perhaps waiting until the sun warms them up. 54 novato, 65 in concord. so this morning we are warmer pretty much everywhere except right at the coast. 8 degrees warmer in livermore. no wind at the surface. that is why we have high fire danger, offshore flow for the north bay mountains. more likely above 1,000 feet where you will see the wind gusts up to 40 miles an hour. and the humidity anywhere from 10 force 10% to 20%. you need to stay hydrated. by 9:00, we'll be well into the 80s. by 2:00, over 100 degrees in antioch, 80 in oakland. and then by about 6:00 tonight, we'll be looking at temperatures in the 60s at the coast. the fog return

lisa argen is tracking the conditions where you live. >> good morning. this first full weekend of summer, it will be a toasty one as temperatures soar. here is live doppler 7 where there is no fog to speak of, a little bit around monterey. high pressure building into the region and that will be the source of our warming. already around 3 to 18 degrees warmer except at the coast, minus 4 this morning. translates to 46 degrees half moon bay. so chilly there. upper 60s in clover dale, 64 in danville. and we do have a heat advisory for all the highlighted cities around for san francisco and oakland, meaning the heat illnesses are possible with very warm to hot temperatures. red flag warning in effect as well from 11:00 today through 8:00 tomorrow night. the north bay and east bay mountains will see gusty winds 15 to 30 miles an hour with gusts up to 40 and relative humidity anywhere from 10 to 20%. so it will be a warm one today with temperatures by 9:00 reaching 80 degrees inland. by the afternoon, you can see triple digit heat. we'll talk about details and
