i'm gloria rodriguez as meteorologist lisa argen is here. and lisa, we've been talking a lot about small business saturday today and a lot of people are going to be going out there doing some shopping. are you doing some shopping today? yeah, kind of did some yesterday. >> it was very crowded out there. beautiful day for it. and i expect today and tomorrow to be just as busy. the weather's cooperating with dry conditions, high pressure in control. but if you live in the north bay, you're probably feeling that chill. we have a frost advisory until 10:00. the interior valleys here where temperatures in petaluma to novato, santa rosa down around san rafael quarter of madera numbers in the 30s in larkspur, we could see even lower than that 30 in novato right now 31 in santa rosa, 37. vallejo with 38 in livermore gilroy 34. so overall many of us really shivering from livermore to novato and santa rosa, a little bit milder in concord and hayward this morning . but nonetheless, the cold weather sticking around throughout the next several days with t

but first, we want to get a check of that weather with meteorologist lisa argen. d lisa, it is a big morning for you. i know you're tracking all the rain that we're seeing this morning. yeah, really, it has been widespread and coming down pretty good. >> certainly with some thunderstorms around santa cruz. and as we look outside right now, looks like a bit of a break out there. you can see the wet roadways, but some of the areas have some poor drainage. and we are looking at a few problems around the bay area. but right now, live doppler seven picking up on the yellows and the reds, which indicate the heavier rain. you can see those thunderstorms that have moved on through. and that's why the national weather service has issued an urban and small stream flood advisory that just expired there through 6:00. and we are looking at anywhere from a half inch to an inch of rain with this these heavier downpours. so as we move further to the north, they are lighter in terms of rain showers from union city, 8-80 there to 680 and move back westward across the san mateo bridg

and before we get to that story, meteorologist lisa argen is here. good morning. this chilly saturday, lisa. good morning to you. >> we have several days of that as clear sky and calm winds and a high pressure overhead is going to keep it pretty cold for the next several mornings. there's a look at live doppler seven. we can see the storm track well into canada. so we are left with the crystal clear sky. it's a pretty start out there, but you need to layer up with temperatures all in the 40s here. but half moon bay, pretty mild at 54. and look at vollmer peak, you can see really far the visibility is amazing the past couple of days. but temperature is ranging from the 20s and 30s in the far north bay to 40s around the bay 50s at the coast. and our final stop here, pier 39, where temperatures will be near average today. as we slowly climb through the 50s, noontime from about 3:00 in the afternoon, we're going to have some temperatures topping out in the low to mid 60s. we'll talk rain chances later in the week coming up. all right. >> thank you so much, lisa. pro-p

but first, we're going to get a check of your weather with meteorologist lisa argen and lisa. you know, when i got up this morning, went outside, it was raining really heavily. it was windy as well. are we still seeing that right now? >> we're not. you know, we've been talking about this for about eight days. this area of low pressure that has been offshore and finally moved onshore very early this morning, bringing the very heavy rain, some thunderstorms around santa cruz. and right now, we are looking at some scattered showers. live doppler seven taking you in closer to the south bay from gilroy to watsonville. looking at some steadier showers. morgan hill and on the peninsula, more is offshore. but san mateo to 80 down through pescadero. some wet weather up in the north bay. more rain developing from glen ellen down 116 through sonoma. sears point highway 37 and back towards la bonita, san rafael 101. some wet weather and the east bay right now getting a break. but boy, you had some heavy rain earlier. we're going to keep with this level one system today with a scattered ra

lisa argen good morning. hey stephanie, good morning to you. >> we have some clouds out there and mild temperatures to start out, but scattered showers on the way. our level one system arriving today. this is the weaker of the systems. there's two of them. and as we look at live doppler seven, you can see how there is plenty of cloud cover out there. we go in closer and right now it is cloudy, but the system today will be the light one. don't cancel any plans. we'll look for maybe a couple hundredths, but it's the one tomorrow that will bring perhaps a quarter of an inch to the north bay. some slippery roadways. it is 58in oakland right now, 60 in concord, 59 in san jose. and that is pretty mild, 2 to 5 degrees warmer than yesterday. a look outside there. it's dry and we'll look for those showers to be on and off on the light side. temperatures in the 60s, plenty of cloud cover. look at that, early sunset, 506 and we'll time out the heavier rain to come for your monday morning commute for some of you stephani
