i' m lisa cooney. mark: and i' m mark hayes. randi: we are going to deal with the snow all day long. the impact on the roads is minimal thanks to warm air we have had. on the radar, some spots are totally dry, but intense snowfall through portions of warren and clinton counties. we could easily pick up an inch to a half an inch on the grass, deck, rooftops, on the car. the colder surfaces are the ones that will be collecting the snow. over the last few days, we said an inter-two is possible. you will see that on the colder surfaces. but on the roads, just plain old wet.

lisa: and i' m lisa cooney. a very soggy start to your wednesday. let' s get over to randi rico for a check on the forecast. a lot of green on your screen. randi: it is a steady soaker for everybody throughout the morning rush. if you want to know when it is going to let up, wait until everyone gets to work and school. it will be mid morning before we start to see any bigger gaps in the radar image. right now, most places with that green tone indicating light to moderate rainfall will stop at times, yellow mixing in as heavy rain northern portions of ripley along 74. as look inside the 275 loop, looks like folks moving up toward wyoming them a slightly heavier rain along the 75 corridor inside the 275 loop. no matter what part of greater cincinnati you live in, you will be dylan with the downpours through the midmorning -- dealing with the downpours through the midmorning. scattered in the afternoon but the potential is possible for showers and even thunderstorms later in the day. we do have a flood watch in effect until 1:00 tomorrow morning. check

i' lisa: i' m lisa cooney. randi rico and kyla woods has weather and traffic together. school closings are at the bottom of this green. cps and mason have gone down. the southern counties are closed. randi: it is heaviest in warren county and clinton county where snowfall totals are four inches in spots. i come in from the loveland-area. the northern part of the 270 five loop was covered this morning. hamilton county, upgraded to a winter storm warning overnight, but it is a different story depending on what part of the county you are in. a wash of blue over the area indicates snow showers for everyone. you have to go south into the southernmost communities to see dry conditions. we have the more intense lose here over -- intense blues over warren county. that is where i am expecting to see the snowfall totals in the fluffy accumulation may have amped up the totals for lebanon, wilmington, martinsville, they are seeing intense snowfall overnight. inside the 275 loop, light to moderate snow showers. you can look at the national weather service, they upgraded hamilton cou

on your good morning, monday, i' m lisa cooney. lisa: they did for a long time. we should have just not talked about it. randi: it is how you just got used to it. lisa: old people are our' s was to be talking about the weather and gas prices, but we' re talking about both this morning. and we are. randi: you may have gotten used to the warm weather over the weekend as well, the you' re probably cringing a little at the forecast for the next couple of days. compared to yesterday, we have about a 10 degree drop in store for us today. yesterday, 59 for the high. started out at 41 in the morning. today, close to the 49 for the high, getting down to 30 tonight. the temperature dropped up to and agree saturday to sunday, and now sunday to monday, another 10. 50 or so for the high today, tomorrow, and wednesday. most places in the low and mid-30' s. 35 officially at cvg. many spots in kentucky are above freezing.

lisa: i' m lisa cooney. let' s go to randi rico. randi: we had steady, heavy rain through the early morning hours. of the last few hours we have caught a little break. through the rest of the afternoon the rain is more scattered, hit and miss style. the first matches of thunder and lightning have developed to the south. you can see over the last hour the 50' s. obviously a thunderstorm is a possibility even though we aren' t expecting severe weather. our entire area except fayette and union counties are under a severe weather warning. we will transition from rain to snow. looking at our rainfall totals this morning, hamilton 1.1 inches. andrew: quite the mess on when crest drive. a landscape true is trying to clean up. they are cutting up a tree and lifting pieces over the house with a crane to dispose of it after the tree came crashing down this morning. it was uprooted this morning and came down on the backside of the house. it happened while the woman who lived here and her children were sleeping in. will have the mess cleaned up

[laughter] randi: the cooler surfaces have a dusting, maybe approaching an inch of snow. but, the road doesn' t. that is the key. . our temperatures are at freezing. it was in the 60' weekend. we had a warm air. yesterday, we had warm air and rain, which is making the ground itself very warm and melting away the snow as it hits. on radar, you can see air is to the north and east of the 275 over the last two hours, the deeper blues have been neutralized over brown, clinton, and howard counties. wilmington right along 61, hillsborough, all dealing with the snow. these are spots that may be pushing an inch of snow to scrape off your car, or get off the back deck. here is a live look in through portions of warned county. downtown lebanon, you can see all the lanes on the road are nice and visible. it is just plain old wet. the cars -- you can see there is a dusting. sticking to the cars, but melting on
