jenkins. lot going on. what do we need to know? >> reporter: lisa, good afternoon.to know that the vote count here, the recount in broward county at one point was in serious question, whether they were going to meet their deadline. take a look. they are 55% to 65% done with the recount. they did the early votes. that's about 65% of the entire vote. they've got to finish the mail in and day of the vote. they believe they are easily going to meet the 3:00 p.m. deadline tomorrow. should be finished sometime tomorrow morning. these machines, by the way, much more newer, much more capable than the ones up in palm beach county, where it's quite in question whether they're going to want to meet their deadline. we were hearing the election supervisor there, susan booker, saying they fixed the machines and are starting to recount ballots that have to be recounted a second time because of the problems. it's really in question as to what happens if palm beach county doesn't meet it. folks here say they are going to meet it and the lawyers who are in this room monitoring the pr
