correspondent lisa louis is in paris and has been following that meeting. she sent us this report. : g5 member countries and france announced today a second mission of their joint and the terror force. that comes after a first mission late last year, a patrolling mission. about this new mission, we know very little. as they put it themselves, they did not want to threaten the success chances of this new mission. what they wanted to show here, and what the defense minister has said as well, is that this anti-terror force was on its way to be fully operational in 2018. however, they did not talk about a crucial point, and that is money. so far, the g5 member countries and their supporting countries have gathered about 300 million euros, but they will need more than 400 million euros for their operational budget, and billions of euros in the long run. that is important for the africans to be able to take care of their own security, but also for france. france has something at stake. they have based about 3000 soldiers in the mission in the region, and they want to get at least a large
