we begin with an update on our developing news in livermore. we can now tell you that search for reported gunman at local middle school has not turned up anything unusual. this all started at east avenue middle school at about 4:15. news chopper 2 was live over the scene on ktvu at 5:00 and 6:00. you can see here at least a dozen police units at that school. livermore police tell us someone reported seeing a man with a gun on or new campus. officer searched that school room by room finding nothing. the only students who were at the school were part of an after school program. we've learned they should be released to their parents soon after final sweep of the school. >> we're back on storm watch tonight as the winter storm that towers the bay area over night continued to bring plenty of fresh snow to the sierra. snow was driving down and ranging. we just checked with cal tran and right now chains are required on highway 50 and interstate 80. >> as far as this is going over the pass, it's really windy, tough to keep up right now. we've got all t
