livermore, a scorching temperature. the wind is coming from the east and that is why we are not getting much cooling. you can see the wind in napa picking up at 13 miles-an-hour and it may calm down around lunchtime but later on, we may see 5-7 mile-per-hour winds gusting with the east wind causing humidity levels to drop. as the numbers pick up, we get drier and hotter and then we will see that breeze later tonight. we will eventually see a shift in the wind direction so by tomorrow, we start to get a nice shift as high pressure moves off california. we have this windstream going back around california, coming from nevada into the bay area and as high pressure ridge will have all that sunshine and hot temperatures. the heat continues and they have santa ana conditions with 100-degree days in the forecast. for everyone across the state, when it gets dry and windy, the cool down is not much of a cool down with temperatures dropping a few degrees by thursday and friday and we won't get much relief until saturday or sunday

livermore, 61, san francisco 60 degrees. the radar is showing how clear the skies will be and it will stay that way. we had patchy fog yesterday and that won't be the case today. we will see a lot of sunshine as the sun rises this morning. here's the deal, high pressure is ridging and is really strong across the west coast -- west coast. tomorrow will be the highest day and it is impacting all of california to bring a lot of dry conditions for the stage. we are hotter than normal and were having temperatures in the mid-to upper 80s with temperatures for oakland and san jose. 14-18 degrees above average from where we should be and some places may see records broken today. napa could be won with 91 degrees expected today in the record is 82 degrees setback in 2008. santa rosa has a record breaker and we will see if those will be met for the rest of the region today, and take a look at your neighborhood. pacific heights, 82 degrees. san jose, 88 and 86 in fremont and livermore, 88 degrees with 92 in fairfield. it looks like 90s
