i'm cheryl casone in for liz claman today. you know, the long holiday weekend not enough to erase investor fears over the issue of the month. the rising interest rates, the yield at 2.9% this morning. stocks mixed right now. the dow at lows of the session, barely off of them now, 228. 241 was the low a couple of seconds ago. we are on track for the dow to snap the six-day winning streak at the close. another volatile day, but remember the markets, this is always good to remember. we're coming off the best week we had in more than five years last week. now the s&p is struggling to stay in the green. some of the sectors somewhat strong for the s&p, technology, consumer discretionary, energy, consumer staples and telecom. nasdaq is the lone soldier making money today. up six of the last sessions for the nasdaq, up 10 points. anything can happen in the last hour of trading. and again, it is all about technology. a handful of names are hitting all-time highs right now believe it or not. we'll give you the good news, nvidia, intuit.
