liza. >>> good morning, everyone. we are talking about slow traffic at the bay bridge toll plaza with the metering lights on and traffic backed up from the foot of the maze. it has been a smooth commute for the bay bridge with no accidents and no stalled vehicles reported so far this morning. south 101 just chugging along at the golden gate bridge. remember, toll increases effective tomorrow. it goes up by 25 cents for all drivers heading across the bridge. if you are heading across the san mateo bridge, looks like we may have a brand-new problem there. you can see some of that slow traffic for the westbound direction of 92 just getting on to the san mateo bridge. 880 close by is going to be slow in the southbound direction. and north 101 a little lighter than usual possibly because of the holiday week but right now, north 101 is backed up beyond the 280/680 interchange approaching trimble. that's your "kcbs traffic." >>> today consumer advocates will lay out their case to state officials showing how oil companies are

a check of traffic and here we go, liza. what's going on?ffic in many areas, frank and michelle. we are going to start off "kcbs traffic" with a look at the sunol grade where southbound 680 is jammed up because of a big rig accident. now, chp did a great job of clearing it up. they pushed it off to the right- hand shoulder very quickly. but still, southbound 680 even though everything is off to the right-hand side you can expect delays now from beyond stoneridge and pleasanton. so just a tough compute for the sunol great and also a long morning for the altamont pass. westbound 580, still heavy from the 205 interchange. stays slow through the pleasanton area. so no relief as you as you make your way towards the dublin interchange. now, the bay bridge toll plaza, the metering lights were switched on about an hour ago and traffic backed up into the macarthur maze. it's also going to be slow on 80 westbound through emeryville. past the tolls, traffic is okay across the upper deck. 880 good through oakland. no problems. south bay good news/bad ne
