susan, the prosecution showed hernandez's phone records from the days that were surrounding odin lloyd'st stood out to you? >> reporter: i'll tell you one thing that stood out. there were a lot of text messages. we also learned something about who saves text messages the company in question here sprint testified that because there are so many of them the system can't handle it and so they actually do not preserve text messages that you and i send that we all send. so unless you happen to save it you don't get it. now, in this case the prosecutors had some of these text messages because they were able to seize the telephones involved. otherwise, they might not have some of these. but anyway yes, we did learn a lot about from these text messages some of what transpired on the noit that odin lloyd was murdered. here is an example of a text message that was sent from aaron hernandez to earnest wallace in the hours leading up to odin lloyd's murder. this was sent at 9:02 p.m. and hernandez says to wallace, please make it back because i'm def trying to step for a little. he says get your -- up
