and as you know, commission has now the information about who has applied for llps. and in particular, in this area, i understand that there is two applications for a limited live entertainment and permit and there is possibly others, that maybe this commission or commission staff has not necessarily tracked but there is an interest. so it will be good for us to see, kind of moving forward, that information if possible, to see that tracking of projects that may not have gone through the process of applying, because, you know, obviously it is not permitted just so that we understand what the demand is. and i think that we agree with the commission and with the city staff that llps provide a unique opportunity to pick-up sort the small businesses and accessory entertainment use provides an opportunity for an increased draw to the business and promotes the local business seen and all of those that were in agreement with and we just want to make sure that, that by allowing llps in the conflict with one, or with the intent of the western soma plan. so, we would be laobing

just in terms of the out reach that we have done for this llp. we presented specifically the llp, at the haze valley neighborhood association meeting on october 23rd. we also presented to the haze valley artist coalition meeting, also, in october. we went through an addendum to our site permit with the planning department and we did a 312 neighborhood notification, which is a notification of every neighbor within 300 feet and we went through that process between september 22nd and october 23rd. and we received no negative comments during that period. we received letters of support, which we have provided to you from bill bucly, and the haze valley neighborhood president and mr. brigham, who is a resident of haze valley and also the co-founder of the haze valley arts coalition and from one of the vendors either apparel. and i am happy to answer any questions that you might have. >> thank you. commissioners? questions? >> so many questions, i love this by the way, just on the face of it. but the questions that i have are when you say that this is a

asked to come to provide a little background about the western soma plan and specifically kind of how llps fit into that and how the plan was adopted and how they considered the llp and i will apologize in advance, a lot of here and it is not a geography, but you can see that we have a bow tie, and just try to bear with me. in the net shell in the western soma plan, started in 2004 and a lot of planning through 2008 and the eir happened through 2011, and another three years and a lot of code writing happened to implement the plan happened, and 2011 and 2012 and that was mostly my role as the code writing and adoption and two of the big issues in the plan were protecting the allies that a lot of the residential to a lot of the residential units in the western soma are on the alleys and another big issue was kind of protecting and enhancing the folsom as the main street of soma over all and west, and another big sticking point was entertainment, over all as an issue, and essentially what the western soma plan did, before it was adopted not having to the entertainment was not permitted anywhe
