we heard from local city leaders, presidents who came out here who said this is is a time to stand with the families of these officers to pay respects. these presidents came out here and they sent a message to the public. they have been in touch with organizers and protesterers who have been protesting certain police tactics. they have asked these people to stay off the streets to allow the families of the fallen officers the respect that they deserve, to allow them to lay their loved ones to rest before any demonstrations continue before there is any more of this kind of talk about how this city is policed. we know there has been a clash between the mayor and the leader with the patrolments coming off that we are beginning to hear between the mayor's office. they do want to take the time to pay tribute to the victims. >> thank you very much for the update from there. the violence did come to a head in new york but it may have started several hours away in baltimore. what are police telling you there? >> police still don't know the motivation if i why brinsley shot nicole thompson, she
