st. louis is a collection of incredibly diverse places, not terms of architecture but in terms of their meaning and the effect it had nationally. so we had local artist andy cross draw all 50 places in a giant chalk board mural right behind me, and then just off we have an area where people can fine out much more aboutation electronically each place, and a photo gallery going through each one. at the computer stations people can go find each one of these places that are up on the wall they can dive further in. we have a descriptive piece we chose it,ce why some of the interesting aspects of it and then a photo gallery, to 10 photos of the place, some of them throughout history they're places that were very noticeable. and now you would never see them. to mine is big mound, just on the other side of kahokia mound thsh massive native american former back in 1200's, a large area for this native american culture. and we had indian mounds on the side of the river, too, and big mound was the largest of them. it was 100 some odd feet long you cone miss it, it was huge. fille 1860's it became dirt for a railroad, so now all that's left is a small rock
