you can see the center there just off the coast of cape canaveral, florida, where all the locket rocket launches and space-x, of course, launching there from merit island. you can see how the outer bands and the eye wall itself brushing just across cape canaveral there in florida. moving off to the north and west around daytona beach. heading into the afternoon, the threat begins to shift off to the north around jacksonville. you can see the storm center very close to the coastline there, bringing a big storm surge, we think, of perhaps 7 to 11 feet in some local locations there, as high tide is also occurring right around the early afternoon. and you can see as this storm still is a category 2, curving up to the north around the georgia atlantic coast, and eventually off the coast of south carolina. coming up, we'll have a look at some of the landfall projections for this storm and some of the heat coming up for the weekend, coming up in a few minutes. >>> let's go back to some video of what we're seeing is on the ground. this speaks a lot to the strength of hurricane matthew. right no
