governor, they you for inviting lockheed martin to be here today. this is a very important component of what we do and where we are headed in the lockheed martin strategic investment as where we are going. thank you all for having us here . i'm not going to go a lot into the details of the charts we have here because i know we are limited on time, and we really but thereve forward, is a critical component of what we do with respect to autonomy, and autonomy is a key strategic pursuit for what we do at lockheed martin. you can see this in the first chart. there's a long history of what we do and what we have invested in over the years. and really significant components of what we do and what we want to do forward with respect to what we are investing in, what are strategic investments are. we have a target team that invested in lockheed martin to autonomy, steering committee, autonomy investments going forward. this is a big deal for us. there's a lot of strategic investment, a lot of corporate involvement relative to what we are going to go do. the

sharyl: how did you tell lockheed martin what you thought was going wrong? vatan: i told them i believe it's unethical, unprofessional, and as a result, based on the statistics that they have released, it's unacceptable. sharyl: the company was getting a huge amount of tax dollars to conduct these reviews? vatan: absolutely. i think it's close to $50 million. sharyl: that's your tax money. what would they say? vatan: they say, "we'll look into it," and they conducted several interviews with me, of course the ethics office did, and they took their time and then eventually they send me an email. they said, "your allegations were unsubstantiated." sharyl: after blowing the whistle, vatan says he faced harassment and retaliation. qtc's ceo admonished him for "creating a disruptive work environment." he was eventually fired for misconduct, which he denies. vatan filed a whistleblower suit in federal court, alleging fraud and retaliation. the case was dismissed. he's appealing. vatan: i felt that not only they're defrauding for our government, but also at the same
