this is a view from the loews hotel. can see some sunshine breaking through but clouds will be around for much of the morning. the temperatures warm up in the spite of the clouds. 69 degrees right now in philadelphia. you can see the scattered clouds and the view from the nbc 10 studios. the wind is calm right now but that is going to change. we see a southerly wind today to help boost our temperatures, warmer than it was yesterday. yesterday we saw a high of 86 degrees, in the upper 80s today with hotter weather to come. the clouds will be thinning out. the humidity will be on the increase over the next several days. with that high humidity will come hotter temperatures, too. and speaking of hotter, heating up in the tropics. we could be looking at what will become the first tropical storm of the season. that may become arthur and as a possibility, that may impact much of the east coast this week. we'll be watching that storm system closely. this morning, we'll watch the clouds move through. they'll thin out, see sunshi
