one taxi company at the last minute opened up, motion loft made it efficient to see what would happen. because they contributed to the stuff, we had five separate teams working on could we do collaborative consumption of sharing taxis, build a dash panel for companies to know where to go. had i hatch i had been working on a model to see how much overlap there was. they sent us to tokyo to work on that. so, this one set, a million records of where the taxis were not only led to a lot of innovation, but people realized 15% of all taxi routes kind of where people went, about 15% of that was all overlapped. so, a city that never really thought about collaborative consumption or sharing suddenly is looking at that. parking data was opened up similarly about a million records of where people weren't parking and within a couple of days predictive analytic app was written. go to a parking reservation thing. the carrier local phone company released pairs of where people were all over town. a lot of privacy issues. we wrote a contract around that. all of that led to a huge amount of innovation

i'm ceo of motion loft. we started about three years ago developing sensors that we could place around cities that would give us some analytics on how people move around cities and how vehicles drive around cities. so, currently we have 16 neighborhoods -- 18 neighborhoods covered in san francisco, and we get real-time data back that shows exactly how many people go by some of the busiest areas in san francisco. so, you can see here san francisco, on average total, i think we had 150 people cross our sensors on average for every sensor. in case you want to go into time density. so, we end up getting these really, really great visualizations of the busiest times and the least busiest times of people moving around san francisco. you want to go down into union square? you can see the data changes dramatically when we change the neighborhood. and just illustrates how different every neighborhood in san francisco really is. we're announcing today that we're providing some of this data to the city as a kind of pub

that belongs to the transportation secretary and this bill does a lot of things to modernize the p 3 loft, it also provides pie yack this new entity with more members and the ability to kill a project rather than waiting for transportation commission. that was the basis for opposing it. they have run into troubles in our opposition and are not accepting amendments yet so we'll see how they fair next week. we have a limit high rail bonds to those already been sold basically killing off the high rail project. that bill passed last night in assembly transportation committee. i think it may have gotten one courtesy vote and another measure that you took opposed poings on page 8 of the matrix. this will take the map 1 authority that was approved last summer to allow delegation to be extend today -- to cal trans for transit projects. it seems like a misfit to have cal trans doing local agency transit project, meet the clearance. therefore you opposed. when i checked with the office yesterday, they indicated they will put the bill over until next year. they just run into too much opposition. one
