we are at glenmore and central, looking down toward logan. and to the left there might be difficult to see, but there's a home where this shooting took place around 11:00 last night. police were called to the home because a man, completely naked, no clothes on, was outside with a knife and he was apparently threatening his wife, who had been living in this home with a roommate, it was the roommate who madet 911 call. when police showed up, there were two officers, they tried get the man to drop the knife, according to the police department, he didn't and he was shot and killed by both of those officers. he was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced. the information we have on him is that he was 37 years old and from san jose. those two officers, which is standard in a situation like this, have been put on paid administrative leave. one was new to the force, having been with the fremont police from three years. the other was a 20-year veteran. as far as the wife was concerned, we know that she was not hurt, physically not hurt. we
