the cancellations including four departing flights to boston's logan airport and seven arriving flights. flights to and from j-f-k were also cancelled. meanwhile oakland international and san jose mineta have not reported any cancellations. power outages leave thousands without power throughout the bay area today. three separate outages caused trouble for about seven thousand customers. the largest was in central richmond for almost five thousand. p-g and e says a transformer failed which caused the outage. another was in east oakland that shut down power for fifteen hundred. a palm tree made contact with power lines. and in daly city around six hundred lost power when a tree branch hit lines. most all customers power is back up and running this evening. the fire is out, but still there is a lot to deal with after that massive south bay fire destroyed several high end classic cars. it was early saturday morning when flames began shooting out of two businesses in san jose. damage totals are more than a million dollars. as kron four's terisa estacio reports, besides the huge impact to the
