they took way too long. they didn't realize as a democrat recently said to me when republicans do big legislation they do it fast because they understand that it's messy because they understand that by the time the election comes people sort of forgotten about some of these things, they did it slow. and i think the health reform is an achievement. we're the only country in the world where millions of people don't have health insurance. that's not a good thing at all. it has some promising ways to try to control costs. but it did come with this huge cost which it absutely came to define the obama presidency. and i do wonder in retrospect now that we know the economy is so weak. now that we know that it absolutely made him look like a partisan polarizing figure, maybe they should have done something else. should they have done some sort of he green energy push that would have served under a different name. i don't know but i do ink that when we look back on this first term we will say it was in many ways defin
