there's a bit of a thunderstorm off by long island but that's pushing to the east and through long islandy from us. as we take a look outside we have sky6 and it looks like we'll see a fair amount of sunshine early and it's probably still going to feel muggy to you as you step outside with temperatures in the 70's. right now your temperature in philadelphia, for example, is 77. your dewpoint right now is still way up there. 70. so, yes, we are starting out muggy, a southwest wind at 3 miles per hour currently but we are looking at a turn in the winds that should start to lower that humidity a bit as we go through the day and more importantly perhaps is that it's not going to be nearly as hot. future tracker6 shows you we start out with a decent amount of sunshine. we may cloud up at times today and the model is showing just a little bit of a shower pushing through and maybe even developing into a brief downpour later today. we're not sure this is actually going to check out but i wanted to show it to you just in case. some other models just have us dry. some have a better chance of a show
