nancy loo is on the road ... what's it like where you are? >> good morning dan. we have seen signs of that flash flooding all over the place. we are in the west lawn of neighborhood near midway airport and on 63rd, as they zoom in you can see some of the punting happening here on 63rd. we turn on to kill their where residents are telling us a lot of basement flooding. on the roads we see cars under water it's about halfway up their tires. i spoke with quite a few residents along the route and they tell me about basements of flooding and it's not just killed there. all the streets around here. many streets through the southwest and west sides are reporting flooding and bonding. basement floating everywhere. at one point during the overnight hours, the national weather service says at midway airport, during a 27 minute span there was 2.7 in. of rain. the rain was falling through the fast and it really hard at some point. presley turned the corner we seek more pounding and flooding and cars up to their tires in water. that is the situation here. this is pretty much
