let's look at how it reacted today. first i want to look at spy. spy's volume, basically an unofficial fear gauge. the higher the dollar volume, the more people are freaking out. it's not high at all, only about $12 billion at noon. at half day, it might look to $20 billion. it's nowhere near what we saw in october. people are scrambling to reposition their portfolios. a lot of what people thought was going to happen happened, and the markets are generally calm, at least on a volatility basis. let's look at some spots where there has been a little pop and reactions to the elections. biotech liked the outcome. biotech etf's up 2%, and you also have bets on the idea that health care might not be gutted as much. then you have mj, the marijuana etf. missouri and michigan passed legislation that's good for that. energy, that is colorado. they voted down something that would hurt this. you are seeing some pops here. internet, 2.5%. that's very good, because it means people are bullish on tech stocks. scarlet, there's a lot of buying. it does appear peopl

look at our live shot. we are seeing traffic looking better on the northbound side. that's the direction the taillights are headed. so southbound 880 looking good with no troubles there. here's a look at the bay bridge. we are getting word of a minor crash not too far from the toll plaza. they are saying just before don't see it here in our live shot but we are seeing some okay conditions out of oakland into san francisco. traffic still light as you work your way into the city this morning. north 101 past sfo. we still have a crash blocking at least one lane. we are seeing some slight delays because of that accident. if you are heading to sfo just keep that in mind. you can use 280 if you work your way north of there into daly city per se. but if you are going to cut across over towards sfo you will catch 380 to get on 101. your drive times look okay. 14 minutes from woodside to sfo on the northbound side of 101. live look of the area and this is just south of where that crash is and traffic seems to be moving at some decent speeds through there. let's take a look at

take a look at this. this is a shot looking off to the west. all you can see the top of the tower. it's not just san francisco. concord, oakland, all of these have visibility below a quarter of a mile. dense, patchy fog. clear skies overnight. temperatures in the 40s and 50s as you head out the door this morning. later today we will see sunshine as the fog mixes. high pressure remains in place. that will hold up the storm track to our north and keep a strike to the weekend. we do have more rain on the way. take a look at this. futurecast says drive through monday. on tuesday, here we offer the commute. shower state to the north of santa rosa. the rain line moves south throughout the day soaking pretty much of the bay area on tuesday. we do see some higher totals over the south bay and the santa cruz mountains and then this passes through tuesday. for wednesday we are looking drive. we do see a bigger storm moving through wednesday. that will be wet and windy on wednesday. here is a look at the rain. heavy rain possible wednesday and windy. showers linger thursday into friday and dr
